Chilli is HOT! It seemed like the perfect subject matter to interpret for a fused glass artist like myself. I utilized the vibrant reds and greens for my piece that we see in the natural world. I cut up the glass and fused it together in kiln at very hot temperatures. Then I placed it in a mold for a process that is known as slumping and this gave it a 3 dimensional feel.
